# Backlight flickers with factory io

Hello, I recently purchased a new laptop, but I’m encountering an issue when running the program Factory IO. The backlight on the screen flickers continuously, which is very annoying and straining on the eyes. I didn’t experience this problem with my old device.  
My new laptop specs are:

- Dell G15 5530
- Core i5-13650hx
- Nvidia RTX 3050 6g
- 16GB RAM
- 512GB SSD
- 15.6-inch 120Hz screen  
Is there a solution to this problem?

Hello @nawarhafez

Are you using the latest Factory I/O version? You can find it here: [Download Archive - Factory I/O](https://factoryio.com/download-archive).  
This could also be caused by the graphic’s drivers not being up to date or the configuration of the computer’s power options.
