# Factory I/O 2.5.8 maintenance release

We’ve released an important update that addresses a regression introduced in version 2.5.5. This issue caused Factory I/O to use the keyboard’s physical layout instead of the default visual layout. If you’ve encountered any issues with keyboard input, we strongly recommend updating to this latest version.

- **Core:** Fixed keyboard input regression introduced in 2.5.5 by reverting back to the default keyboard visual layout.
- **Drivers:** Increased drivers input fields maximum characters to 512.
