# Factory I/O 2.5.9 released

Factory I/O v2.5.9 is now available for [download](https://factoryio.com/download-archive/). This update introduces **support for S7-PLCSIM V20** , expanding compatibility with the latest Siemens PLC simulation tools. It also includes improvements to OPC UA documentation and a fix for the Pivot Arm Sorter issue.

#### Release Notes

- **Drivers:** Added support for **S7-PLCSIM V20**.
- **Drivers:** Improved **CODESYS documentation** regarding OPC UA.
- **Parts:** Fixed **Pivot Arm Sorter** not being detected by sensors.

Are there plans to add additional functions to componeents and devices as it looks like nothing has changed in quite some time.

Hello @mason_fisher1995,

Yes, we are currently working on significant changes in Factory I/O.  
In December, Bruno made a small update about the development we’re currently undertaking. You can check it out [here](https://community.factoryio.com/t/the-big-factory-i-o-wishlist-discussion/136/83).  
We are working on big changes, and we don’t want to rush anything so we can continue delivering the quality that defines Factory I/O, so it’s taking some time.
