# Floating Licence

Hi,

I bought factoryio and got a serial key form XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. I want to activate it as a floating licence, but I don’t know where to aktivate this key to get a share code. In my account there ist only the Information: No licences available. When I use the code in factory io it is activated as a standalone licence.

Can you help me?

Hi,

Your license is linked to the email you used during purchase. Sign in at [factoryio.com](http://factoryio.com), then go to **My Account,** and next click on the **Licenses** tab. Now, select your serial key and you will see your share code displayed there.
