# How to add new assets?

There isn’t a template to follow, we add our user’s suggestions to our roadmap if they’re highly requested or they’re a good addition to our software. There are two threads in this forum that might interest you:

- [The big Factory I/O Wishlist](https://community.factoryio.com/t/the-big-factory-i-o-wishlist/135), where you post your wishes (parts, features,…) for future versions of the software;
- [The big Factory I/O Wishlist discussion](https://community.factoryio.com/t/the-big-factory-i-o-wishlist-discussion/136), where you can discuss your ideas with our community before posting them in the wishlist.
