Hello all

I encountered an issue where i am using TIA V20 with PLCSIM V20 aswell.

I used the template to create my TIA project and followed the guide to setup PLCSIM with the sequence.

And bools are workign good, both I and Q.

But when i try to transfer any analog values they will not update in either TIA or FactoryIO.
If i force the values in FactoryIO and do a plc stop/start then on the inital scan the values are read once.

So where have i gone wrong here? Can anyone please point me in the right direction.

Hello @daniel.n.jonsson
Welcome to the forum!
To use the analog values, you’ll need to add analog modules to the PLC in the Device Configuration, in TIAPortal.
When you add the modules, make sure the addresses match those you set up in Factory I/O.

Hi there
Sorry for my late reply.
Worked perfectly this. I saw the forum post about making sure that bool inputs/outputs did not share same memory area as factory IO, so i thought it was the same for analog values.
Everything works as it should now. Many thanks
