A scene can be loaded at startup by either:

- Placing a [load command](https://docs.factoryio.com/manual/console/#scene) in the [auto.cfg](https://community.factoryio.com/t/customize-factory-i-o-at-startup-configuration-files/25) configuration file:
`scene.load_from_path(r'<path-to-scene>)`
- Using the command-line with the load parameter:
`Factory IO.exe "load:<path-to-scene>"`

Factory I/O can also start the scene immediately in run mode by:

- Setting [scene.start\_in\_run\_mode](https://docs.factoryio.com/manual/console/#scene) in the [auto.cfg](https://community.factoryio.com/t/customize-factory-i-o-at-startup-configuration-files/25) configuration file:
`scene.load_from_path(r'<path-to-scene>')`
`scene.start_in_run_mode = True`
- Using the command-line with the run parameter:
`Factory IO.exe "load:<path-to-scene>" run`
