# New to Factory IO and need urgent help

@janbumer1 i wish i knew how to execute what you just said. sadly i have made a load of progress going back now is not an option. quick question is there a memory limit in the plc?

Depends on the CPU. But you should have enough. It’s just bad practice on Siemens.

Hi Jan,

I found this thread very interesting. Please could you give more detail or share a screenshot on using DB tags?  
I am new to Factory io, i was under the impression the software could only read inputs and outputs?
