# Problem connecting PLCNext to FactoryIO using OPCUA

Hi,  
I am trying to connect my PLCNext to FactoryIO via OPC Client UA/DA. I tried to look up for the resources online and made changes, still I am getting the attached error.

Hi,

By default, Factory I/O tries to connect to an OPC UA server by using an [anonymous user identity](https://docs.factoryio.com/manual/drivers/opc/#opc-ua-certificates-and-user-identity). I believe in PLCNext you have to enable the [anonymous identity token](https://www.plcnext.help/te/Service_Components/OPC_UA/OPCUA_Discovery.htm).
