# Running behind a proxy server

Factory I/O uses Windows default proxy configuration. No additional setup is required.

Why I have this message “internet connection is requered to load this Window’s contents”?  
I have it with proxy, but I don’t have it with my laptop without proxy.

Hi @user73,

When are getting this error? Right after starting FIO or when trying to activate a license? It looks like FIO is not allowed to use the Internet connection. Check that it is not being blocked by your firewall.
