# Sensor inputs are blinking

All the sensors i have in a selfmade project giving me a blinking result in tia portal when they are “true” in factory I/O, even when I force the sensor…  
when i test the program with force table in tia portal it works but with factory I/O software it doesn’t because of this issue.

i only use Plc Sim so there are no adresses shared with physical inputs…  
What could be the problem?

Hi @timothylakiere!  
It looks like the input addresses used by Factory IO, `%I0` and `%I1`, are also being used by the `DI 14/DQ 10_1` module. This can lead to the values sent by Factory IO being overwritten by the values from the module, and the resulting blinking behavior.
