# Trial License Issue in First Run

Hello,

Today I’ve downloaded Factory IO for first time for free trial run. But I’m not able to select drivers. It’s showing my license is expired on 22 March 2026 but I’ve just downloaded the software for the first time on date 10 October 2026. In Licensing I am seeing following messaage,

Edition: Ultimate Edition  
Expiration date: Saturday 22 March 2026  
up to version: 2.9.9

I just downloaded this program for the first time. what happened?

And I got no Email with a activation key for trial whatsoever

So I don’t really know what the problem is.

Hi @rajshukla112007,

It looks like our system may have incorrectly detected that a trial license has already been issued for your computer. No worries, I added a trial license to your account. Just sign in to [factoryio.com](http://factoryio.com), go to **My Account** \> **Licenses** , and you will see a 30-day serial key. Use this key to activate Factory I/O. Start Factory I/O, click on **Activate License** , and enter this key.
