Hello:

Let’s look at an intralogistics system with nine different material pieces. I already have it (see the end of this video), because I’m simply extrapolating the code to this project. This highlights the importance of having a well-structured library; otherwise, it will be a jumble of letters and numbers that won’t be very useful in future projects.

This project uses the same approach as the project mentioned in the video, except that instead of one detector with one register, it uses one detector with three registers. These registers are used to send the pieces to the configured destination. Furthermore, it allows you to use any ideas you can think of regarding displacement registers controlled from an HMI—a real challenge for advanced students who can expand upon it with countless ideas.
