Hello:
This is a complex project to complete for several reasons. The scene sometimes becomes unbalanced, the coding requires high-level programming knowledge, and the scripts don’t allow for high-level options, so they have to be adapted, generating very extensive scripts that can’t be done from scratch because each step needs to be tested. Furthermore, communication isn’t as fast as it should be, so variables must be linked throughout the script instead of using the variables themselves. And of course, extensive knowledge of Factor IO is needed to understand how it might work in cases like the free fall of objects.
Obviously, it’s not all disadvantages; there are also advantages, which are mainly the level of programming and scripting comprehension achieved with these projects—regarding their configuration, behavior, and structure. This knowledge isn’t readily available to everyone, as it’s not very common to develop this type of application with scripts. However, if the need arises, it would be an added advantage for programming something more complex; they could do it with scripts, and therefore anyone capable of contributing this type of programming will be more valuable than someone who isn’t.
Regards.
