Hello:
We attempted a project never before seen on the internet and that no one has done to this day: using a camera image as the background for a SCADA system. This allows us to obtain real-time system data. To achieve this, we first had to address a problem that arises when writing and reading data from the same image. This causes data to be duplicated, rendering the measurements invalid and resulting in errors.
The control elements will be integrated into the same HMI, enabling the operator to control the machine.
As you can see, in this instance, Factory IO is essential for testing another application, not for programming the machine itself. Again, it’s for testing an application. I believe we’ve already created and tested six applications using Factory IO, which speaks volumes about its capabilities, believe me.
To fully understand this case, you must watch the entire video, from part one to part three:

Hi, here’s the finished scene. I don’t think anything needs to be modified anymore. In any case, any construction details added from now on will be done without modifying the scene, since I have another scene in mind with this type of more complex programming, but that will be a different project…
The overall video with those details is still missing; I hope to do it tomorrow…

Hello:
This project can also be done with numerical color sensors for the parts and Boolean sensors for the boxes. I should also mention that if you want to do the project with computer vision, you must first do it with detectors and sensors since the code is the same, only changing the previously displayed values to those returned by the computer.
A word of advice for students: if you think it’s impossible, you’ll never succeed. Also, don’t try it with hardwired logic; you can’t do it. You must use programmed logic.
Here’s the result:
