Contribution to the factory io project 133 (Machine for creating patterns with rotated pieces)

Hello:

This project is very easy to carry out, provided you follow a logical programming sequence. You can also program it however you like—using VIJEO or similar software is certainly possible, though more complex. Personally, I plan to implement it using high-level machine vision, as configuring all the combinations is much simpler that way; however, I could certainly do it with VIJEO if I chose to, even though it would be more labor-intensive.

You can find the scene here:

Feel free to download it and follow along with the steps shown on the channel.

Best regards.

Hello:

If everything went according to plan, this is the result.

To understand this video, (6), you need to watch the previous ones; otherwise, the part regarding the register which is resized simply by repositioning images on the HMI won’t make full sense.

We followed the same process as with the other platform but used Vijeo Designer (or equivalent software). As I mentioned, this is feasible, albeit more labor-intensive, especially given that the ability to configure colors based on a sequence (determined by the robot’s position or the direction of the conveyors) significantly simplifies the project setup.

As always, we start and finish the process, often gaining new insights that will prove useful in future projects.
