One time payment: Upgrade to Factory I/O 3.x

I’m about to purchace the one time payment ultimate version and the following sentence worries me a little:

One-time payment includes free support, updates and access to all releases of Factory I/O 2.x.

I’m planing to use it for years, but I’m also like to have the newest version. Will there be a kind of update fee, when a Version 3.x comes out?
