Using Physical Push Buttons as inputs as well as Factory IO Virtual Pbs

Hello everyone,

Is there a way to incorporate an external physical push button to a Factory IO TIA Portal project.
I.e. use Factory IO, and an HMI, and a physical input to the PLC?
Not sure if this is possible as the input addresses were offset in order to communicate btwn PLC and Factory IO.

If you set offset in Device configuration (let’s say to 10), you can just define new tag in PLC tags with address I10.0 (or I10.X based on your hardware) and it will just work. Same thing with HMI, I usually connect HMI tags with variables from data blocks.
