Adriana, Rita, Bruno and the rest of the Factory IO team

I have taken the trouble to do the PID algorithm to try to adjust the calculation in Factory IO, and this is the result, obviously it cannot continue calculating if the output is closed, the temperature will drop if it is disconnected, I will probably do this same project but with some temperature simulation.

I hope to shed some light on all students who are interested in PID.

PS: I will upload the scene as always at the end, although it is very easy to do, you can see it in the video, if anyone is interested, ask me for it and we will supply it to you…

In this other video we see that the valve closes perfectly if the PID is correct, then it is possible to exceed the setpoint in the simulation.

I hope it serves as a reference for students.

And finally, it is also possible to export the calculations to a PLC (PLC).

Once here, the student can practice playing by regulating the PID even with an open valve, simulating a leak, or simply filling the tank.

I hope that as a research exercise it will be interesting for and for teaching.

@amjavi6 we’ve been quite busy at work around here so right now, I don’t really have any ideas for systems for you to build and share, but whenever I get the chance to think of something I’ll try to keep it simple :wink:

Hi Adriana, don’t worry, if you have an original idea, just post it here and we’ll implement it.

On the other hand, if you need to perform any checks, such as what happened with PID, or any queries from someone who can’t adjust something, or anything like that, you can let me know and we’ll try to analyze it…
