We use the water tank in analog mode to simulate PID (Loop) controls. The problem we have is that the valves respond too fast. You can have the fill valve wide open and it will stop almost exactly on the setpoint. I would like to be able to have delayed valve response so that the PV overshoots if you do not reduce the valve opening as you approach the SP.
Also, it would be nice to have some leakage / variation in the tank or valves so that it is more difficult to maintain a level. Or, maybe make the valves perform less liniar so that they are more difficult to control.
