Accumulation Conveyors (ZPAs) Discussion

Hi:

This is more or less what you were saying:

Regards

No. I’m referring to something realistic and applicable in real industrial systems. There are accumulation conveyors that allow upstream release while the downstream section grants permission to pass — especially right before a merge.

In reality, I could take several 2-meter conveyor sections and turn them into transfer zones to build my own Accuglide-style accumulation system, but that takes time. And I use Factory I/O for work, out of necessity, not as a hobby.,

I completely understand what you want to do. It’s as if each pair of rollers operated independently, allowing the entire conveyor to function with two rollers moving independently at a time. I understand that perfectly.

What I don’t understand is what you mean by “you use it for work and not as a hobby,” among other things because I think that comment is out of place.

I’d appreciate it if you could explain in some detail, with an image or video, what you’re describing. That way, we can get a better idea of what you want to do for your work. Even though it’s just a hobby, I can still help you with what you’re asking. There might be a way to do it with Factory IO, but you need to explain it better.

Regards.
