Could you please confirm you set the PLCSIM to RUN mode?
Did you make any changes to template besides converting to V19? Did you delete or change the function block in Network 1?

Yes I set it to run mode and no I didn’t make any changes. I just converted from v15 to v19.
I also tried plcsim advanced and it didn’t work.

Thank you for the information.
Everything seems to be ok, so I find it weird that it is not connecting. However, other users have reported this issue, though we have yet to determine the cause.
Could you please try a different version of TIAPortal? Previous reports indicate that V19 is the one that triggers this issue.
Regarding PLCSIM Advanced: did you try it with the template? To use PLCSIM Advanced, you do not need the template. You just need to set the PLCSIM Advanced instance name to “factoryio” and you should be able to connect.

Thanks after changing the instance name to factory io on plcsim advanced it worked.
I tried v21 before and I had the same issue.
Happy to keep using the simadvanced
