Contribution to the factory io project 88 (Security permits from a database in an HMI)

Hello;

Let’s see how our OPC behaves in a real-world scenario, for example, controlling access doors.

Due to the necessary adaptations to this project, I wanted to record these modifications and tests to demonstrate that if the programs aren’t well-structured, it will be very difficult to make the modifications. In this case, you can see that with a few minor changes, the new project was completed.

Note:

In this project we used the application created in contribution 87.

To complete this project, you must first create an OPC application, or use one you already know. It is recommended that you create an OPC application using a platform, as this will allow students to learn many interesting things about programming.

Regards

The result is thanks to FACTORY IO, a complete research and development project that wouldn’t be possible without the simulator.

If everything went well, this is the result. I imagine it will also be possible to do this with several brands besides Schneider. Keep in mind that the programming is “all the same,” so it shouldn’t be too difficult to extrapolate it to these different brands.

The scene is already shared on this site, but with only one door. If anyone wants the one with three doors, they can request it by email and we’ll share it.

Regards
