How can I add some Entries/Outputs?

Hi everyone :wink:

I am an automation student, and I recently learned to use this software. I must admit that I find it great, and that it is very practical.

However, I often encounter the same problem: I don’t have enough entries, or/and outputs. Does anyone knows how to add some ? I’m using PLCSIM with TIA V16.

There is a maximum of 256 Inputs and 256 Outputs if I remember correctly. Do you need more than those?

Or do you not know how to enable all those?

Yeah, I don’t need more than 256. I just need something like 20 of them. How can I do that ?

Go to File>Drivers (or Press F4), then Configuration and scroll down to I/O Points.
There’s a Columnt called “Count”. Change the number to the amount of inputs needed.
