Hi,
I’m trying to use the OPC UA to connect Factory IO to a CODESYS runtime running on my PC.
I can access the PLC using UaExpert so I am happy that the PLC is set up correctly.
When I try to enter the OPC UA Server address (opc.tcp://localhost:4840) in the OPC Server field on the driver configuration page, I get the error “The secure channel has been closed. Remote side closed connection”.
Has anyone experienced the same issue? Any ideas on how to resolve it?
So, I resolved this issue by killing the OPC UA Discovery Service on my computer.
It seems like both the OPC UA Discovery Service and the CODESYS Control Win V3 runtime were fighting for the same port.
