Control I/O won't start

Hello, Control I/O driver doesn’t load. I have ultimate license and the latest version v2.5.10

I tried all solutions in the community:

  1. C:\Program Files (x86)\Real Games\Factory IO
  2. just 2 files: config and notifications
  3. tried maximizing in task manager –no such option to maximize
  4. unintalled and installed again
  5. installed in C disk instead of D
  6. Adding factory i/o and control i/o to whitelist in the firewall

Is there anything else I can try? Thanks a lot

Could you please elaborate a bit?
When you select Control I/O on the drivers list, does the message saying that “Control I/O is starting” appear?
If so, does the icon for Control I/O show up on your taskbar?
Sometimes, the Control I/O window will load outside of the screen. A way to fix this is by deleting the configuration folder to reset its settings.
The folder can be found at ‘C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Real_Games\Control_IO.exe_StrongName_a2hyva2mulm3nkb2wfqwuojekked2ezz’.
The AppData folder is hidden, so a simple way to open that location is to paste ‘%localappdata%\Real_Games’ into an explorer window address.

Thanks for the prompt reply. yes, it says control I/O is starting but it doesn’t actually open. It doesn’t show in the task bar, but it shows in the task manager. I don’t have a folder Real_Games in AppData. I have folder Real Games, without the “_”. Please check the attachment.

I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. We were looking into your issue.
We think that the cause of the issue might have been an antivirus interfering with the installation process of Factory I/O. Sometimes, an antivirus program may identify some of Factory I/O’s DLLs as threats and delete them, causing Factory I/O and its components to malfunction.

We suggest checking if an antivirus is running and, if so, turning it off before attempting to reinstall Factory I/O.
Another option is to download the portable version of Factory I/O and try it out to see if the same issue happens.
