I couldn’t find any detaled information about the portable version.
What is the difference in features?
My goal is to simply run projects that have been created with the installer.
I read it does not include OPC UA dependencies. Can I first install the installer (with OPC UA) and then run the portable version with OPC UA communication?
There is no difference in features. The main advantage is that it allows you to run different versions of Factory I/O on the same computer without uninstalling and installing it.
OPC UA has no dependencies. The installer includes external dependencies only for OPC DA.
