RSLinx 'Class is not licensed for use' Error

Maybe you can help me with this message that I get when I try to us Emulate500 with RSLinx Classic and logix5000. The software wonb’t even let me go into the menu to choose a client host. Here is the message I get:

{A05BB6D5-2F8A-11D1-9BB0-080009D01446} from the IClassFactory failed due to the following error:80040112 Class is not licensed for use (Exception from HRESULT:0x80040112).

Hi @monique_ze,
I believe this error is related to RSLinx. What version of RSLinx are you using? Does it allow the use of other OPC clients?
Note that to use OPC DA with RSLinx you need RSLinx Classic OEM or Gateway, as you can see in this version comparison chart:
