Unable to open factory I/O on avirtual machine

I have factory I/O installed in my Virtual Machine which was successful but I cannot open it.

Hi @danbitodi,

Please make sure your VM guest has support for 3D accelerated graphics.
What VM software are you using with Factory IO? If using VMware or VirtualBox, you can get more information in this post.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I have it up and running now because of your support. Now, I have a new problem and I don’t know if you can help me out. I want to use the Emulate RSLOGIX 500 to communicate with Factory I/O. I can see the OPC Server right there but when I try to connect I have this pop up saying OPC Client DA/UA OPC disconnected.

Check that you are using RSLinx Classic OEM or higher, other versions won’t. See more here: https://rockwellautomation.custhelp.com/ci/fattach/get/155678
